Co-founder Alejandro Navia noted that the toys dominated Amazon sales charts beating out legacy brands such as Disney and Legos. The project's approach is to attract large companies and individuals from the music or sports world to bring in new users. Pudgy Penguins is one of the few Ethereum-based projects that raised $9 million dollars despite the NFT crash. The team aims to be the face of NFTs and bring mass adoption to the market.
